In the current socio-political landscape of Bangladesh, the Revolutionary Artists’ Society has taken an inspiring initiative to awaken patriotism among the masses through rehearsals of protest songs, patriotic plays, poetry, and cultural performances centered on Mother, Land, and Nation.

According to the organizers, these rehearsals will continue throughout November in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, and Chattogram, in preparation for the Victory Month of fiery December. Revolutionary artists and cultural organizations across the country have been invited to join this movement.

The convener of the society, Md. Shoyb Hossain, said:

> “In these challenging times, art can be the unifying force of the nation. Through songs and drama, we want to reawaken the spirit of our Liberation War and rekindle patriotism in people’s hearts.”

Member Secretary Biplob Chowdhury added:

> “We, the revolutionary artists, aim to spread the light of humanity through patriotic voices, musical protest, and powerful performances. These rehearsals will inspire a new wave of cultural awakening in the month of victory.”

The organizers believe this initiative aims to revive patriotic consciousness among the youth through the power of art and cultural activism.

> “To awaken the new generation with the rhythm of love for the country and the courage of creative protest — that is our mission,” they said.

The organizers also highlighted that Md. Shoyb Hossain is not only a leader but also a musician, teacher, researcher, journalist, and human rights activist.
Even during the 2024 Mass Uprising and the turbulent aftermath, he risked his life to unite revolutionary artists under one banner — spreading the rhythm of patriotism despite threats and without administrative protection.

His leadership, resilience, and sacrifices for the nation have become a shining example for the younger generation.
The ongoing series of cultural rehearsals stands as a continuation of that brave call, turning his dream and patriotic commitment into reality.
